Oh, we always had great fun.

My little boy, um I mean my husband, wants the tree up the weekend before thanksgiving, and we usually take it down on New Years Day.

We always have a fake tree, although I know what Michelle means about the smell ! Although I sometimes go and get some kind of posy (hope this is the right word !!) which is made up with a candle and some small branches of a reel tree. It's small, the needles that come of don't go everywhere and it smells great !!

It's a 5 foot green tree which I decorate with all kinds of cosy things, I just love it !
It always goes up just after the 6th of December, which is a big day here for the children, cause it's Saint Nicolas day.

We always have a fake tree. But at work they have a real tree and it smells gorgeous!

We decorated our Christmas tree yesterday.

Quite a few of our neighbors have fantastic outdoor light decorations!

We usually have two real trees, one for the lounge and one for the dining room. We will be going to choose them this weekend before they are delivered. We don't like to put them up too soon because even though they are the non-dropping variety, they still do shed and I don't fancy bald trees by 12th night!
