July 13, 1266 – Birth of John, son of Edward I, at Windsor Castle
John was the eldest son and fourth child of Edward I and Eleanor of Castile. He died at age 5 in Wallingford, Berkshire while in the care of his uncle Richard, Earl of Cornwall. Richard was taking care of his brother Edward I's children while he and his wife were on Crusade. Prince John was buried in Westminster Abbey on the north side of Edward the Confessor's tomb.

Richard became king at the age of 10 upon the death of his grandfather Edward III. His coronation was held a month later. Richard was so exhausted after the coronation that he had to be carried to Westminster Hall for the banquet. Richard’s first wife Anne of Bohemia was crowned on January 22, 1382. His second wife Isabelle of France was crowned on January 8, 1397.

Joan was the younger daughter and the fourth and youngest child of Edward II and Isabella of France. She was born in the Tower of London and was always known as Joan of the Tower. Joan married David, the son and heir of Robert the Bruce, King of Scots when she was only seven and David was only four. David and Joan had no children and Joan died in 1362 while visiting her brother Edward III. She was buried in the Grey Friars Church in London.

Joan was the eldest daughter and third child of King John and Isabella of Angouleme. She married King Alexander II of Scotland but they had no children. Joan died in London while on a visit to her brother Henry III. She was buried in the convent church at Tarrant Crawford, Dorset.
