They actually married on May 25, although many sources give the date as the 21st. On May 20, Northumberland wrote a letter ordering two masques for the wedding the following Thursday, i.e., May 25. The imperial ambassador also reported that the weddings took place on the 25th.

Thanks, Susan! Both Leanda de Lisle and Eric Ives use the May 25 date based on Northumberland's letter, if someone on the royalty site wants a source.

Blanche was the elder daughter of Henry IV and his first wife Mary de Bohun. She married Ludwig III, Elector of the Palatine and Duke of Bavaria in 1402.

May 22, 1667 - Death of Charles, Duke of Kendal, son of James II; buried at Westminster Abbey
Charles was the third son and fifth child of James, Duke of York (later James II) and his first wife Anne Hyde. He died at St. James' Palace at age ten months.

May 22, 1770 - Birth of Princess Elizabeth, daughter of George III, at Buckingham Palace
Elizabeth was the third daughter and seventh child of George III and his wife Charlotte. She married late in life at age 48 to Hereditary Prince Friedrich of Hesse-Homburg. Her husband succeeded his father as Landgrave of Hesse-Homburg in 1820.
