Amin Maalouf

We were discussing the Crusades on another thread, and commenting on the lack of HF written from alternative POVs, e.g., the Jews or the Muslims. That reminded me of Lebanese author Amin Maalouf, who wrote an interesting non-fiction book called [url="[i]"The Crusades Through Arab Eyes"[/i][/url]

He has also written several historical novels which have been translated into English from the original French.
