Well, guys, I was supposed to go to the Highland Games on Saturday, but I decided that a day away wasn't enough, so my friend and I went on a road trip of a historical kind.
My friend is not from the US and I thought she might be interested in seeing a Civil War battlefield. We don't have anything like that here in New Orleans, so we went to Vicksburg, Mississippi.
If anyone would like to see the photos, they're here.
For the sake of guidance:
Photos 103-195 are of the Vicksburg Military Park
Photos 196-230 are of a smaller military park dedicated to a small city called Grand Gulf, Mississippi
Photos 231-235 are of the Natchez City Cemetery and National Cemetery
Photos 236-258 are at the Natchez Indian Mound
Any questions, just ask.
