The Maiden Heist. Fabulous cast, cute story. Marcia Gay Hardin was particularly good with her accent.

Run, Fat Boy, Run. Funny little movie.

Nefret, was it good? I have that on my Netflix queue. On the one hand, I tend to hate musicals - on the other hand: Python. :) I am left ambivalent enough I haven't gotten around to playing it yet ...

Watch it. Nice songs, and it's really funny.

Dark Shadows--I was disappointed. Thought it wasn't dark enough to be a real horror movie, not campy enough to be a good send up. Some good moments, but not enough.

Nefret, thank you!

I attempted to watch "Pavilion of Women" last night - but ... oh wow is that a bad film.

Get Him to the Greek.

Really not my kind of movie. Elisabeth Moss was cute, and Russell Brand has a surprisingly good singing voice. But it was pretty much a waste of time. Glad I didn't pay money to see it in a theater.

Not a specific movie as such, but - I just signed up for the 2-week free trial on Hulu Plus. I'm very much unimpressed with navigation, in particular, and have had troubles with poor performance ... and I've only even viewed two shows. It's hard for me to get a very wide view of the selection, given the sub par navigation, but was wondering whether anyone here subscribes.

Am I just being too picky? It looks much slicker than Netflix, but I find the exact same device remote which works nimbly enough in that menu is remarkably slow using Hulu. Am I missing (a number of) something(s), as to why it might be worth paying for Hulu Plus? Which includes ADVERTISING, no less?

In the world of this actual thread, I did finally finish the reboot of Battlestar Galactica. A lot of people seemed to reject the way it ended, but I will have to confess I don't understand what there might have been to protest. A couple of thoughts here.
