Hi, everyone! I'll continue identifying myself under my pen name here, Julianne Douglas. I'm a writer of historical fiction set in sixteenth century France. My first book is under submission to editors and I'm working on a second. I blog about historical fiction and the Renaissance at the site listed in my signature.

I'm glad to see the many "old" friends who have found their way here, and look forward to making new ones!

Hey JD! We have formed ourselves into a distinct group, haven't we? But such a fun one - who takes history that seriously? ;) Well, some really do sometimes! I'm pretty sure we had a thread about it in the Old World.

I do hope we have lots of new friends finding their way to the New World here. :)

Hi, Julianne, I may be spending more time here than at the other site.

Tsjmom--No happy news yet. Summertime is slow in publishing...I'm praying hard for good news this fall. In the meantime, I'm trying to distract myself by working hard on the second book.

You'll all be the first to know when I have a sale. Thanks for asking!

Thanks, Melisende! I love your name... it's very close to one I used to use on another board (Mersende).
