Congrats, Cindy, on the strikingly beautiful cover. It is most definitely a 'wow' and does whet the appetite. When can we get it?

I'm sincerely happy for you and look forward to Silver Phoenix's successful debut.

It's the beginning... of a long career, of many more awesome covers to come, and of lots of hard (but fun!) work :] A cover like this shows just how much love and attention Harpercollins is putting into your novel. I hope you're going to frame it somewhere! There's nothing more exciting than the cover of a debut!!!

GORGEOUS! It's just beautiful. Congratulations!! I'm sure it's going to be a great success. Covers are so important these days, especially among the teen crowd, who are bombarded by so much imagery; this is definitely an eye catcher.

thank you so much for commenting everyone.

michelle--here's to hoping...as i struggle through
my fears of the contracted sequel. ;*) thank you
for your encouragement!!

spitfire, i wish i had something to do with
choosing the cover. haha! they did show me
mock ups, indeed. but they were the ones who
decided to hire a model and buy the costumes
(after consulting with me on chinese clothes).

i feel very very fortunate.

*hearts icon* =D

leyland, it's out for summer 09!
