I'm looking forward to this movie, I hope it's better than what they did with "The Da Vinci Code". I read the book a few years ago (nearly 4 to be exact) and I enjoyed it, though it was a lot more violent and bloody then "DVC".

I like Ewan McGregor a lot and can't wait to see him and Tom Hanks work together!

Wasn't A&D first? Published first, I mean...

Yes, it was published first, but I don't believe the book became a success until after DVC was published.

If I remember correctly, in the movie they're making the events happen after those of DVC, though I may be wrong.

Oooh, I didn't know yet, I read the book a few years ago. I think I'll certainly go and see it.

Yet another one to read! I still think TH is miscast as Langdon though.

I agree Hanks comes across as too much of a "sensitive new age guy"....I wish he would create a little more of an edge to the role(+too pudgie looking for the role.....I liked A&D and no doubt the Illuminati factor will add some controversy.....

I started to read the book through the first 4 chapters and just never finished, I guess I should finish it before the movie comes out. But I am anticipating the movie very much. I loved the DVC, both the book and the movie that may sound strange considering the background I came from, with a preacher father and everything.
