Kill the Queen by Jennifer Estep
It's the 1st installment in the "Crown of Shards" trilogy.
I'll be reading Protect the Prince next--it was released early this month.

Listening to a Ken Follett book that I somehow missed - Hornet Flight. Very good WWII story set in Denmark.

I just started Counted With the Stars by Connilyn Cossette.
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

I’m reading Testament by Alis Hawkins, a dual timeline story set in the present day and the 14thC. It took a while to get going, but I persevered and I’m enjoying it now.

I’m reading Lock Every Door by Riley Sager via Pigeonhole, a contemporary psychological thriller set in a creepy apartment building in New York complete with gargoyles. Dodgy residents, disappearing apartment sitters and a dumbwaiter paints the picture. Nicely creepy and compelling reading but I fear the plot may have been done before.

I’m listening to The Snakes by Sadie Jones, another contemporary psychological thriller, which is quite dark and disturbing, a little twisty.

I just started A Light on the Hill by Connilyn Cossette.

For some reason, this summer is time to read Biblical historical fiction.

I’m reading Circe by Madeline Miller, a bit of Greek mythology and witchcraft. I’m also reading The Bastille Spy by C S Quinn via the Pigeonhole app, a murder mystery set during the French Revolution.
