The Warrior Maiden by Melanie Dickerson (YA)
A retelling of Mulan set in Poland-Lithuania and Germany during the 15th century. It's the latest and 9th novel in the author's Hagenheim Castle series.

Just finished two Regency romances/adventure stories by Valerie Holmes - Love, Honour & Obey (not sure about that title - it’s actually about spies and smuggling!) and For Richer For Poorer. Review books.

I’m now reading Rosamund by Shani Struthers, a supernatural novella set at the beginning of the 20thC. Another review book!

I’m also reading via Pigeonhole Professor Chandra Follows His Bliss by Rajeev Balastubramanam.. It’s a contemporary read and apparently Prof Chandra is looking for the secret of happiness! Aren’t we all!?

I'm reading The Ghost Bride by Yangsze Choo.
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

I'm currently reading Stephen King "Salem's Lot".This is a book for those in awe with classic King horror, it is full of despair where the last glimmer of hope is left. And of course, it is for those who prefer the true and scary vampires that breath danger instead of shining with sex appeal.

I’m halfway through Once Upon a River by Diane Setterfield and am really enjoying it. It’s set on the River Thames and has a fairytale like feel about it. It’s about a girl who is found drowned but suddenly comes alive again. The story ebbs and flows just like the river.

Now reading Crow’s Cottage by John Bowen, the sequel to Where the Dead Walk, a supernatural tale.

I’m also listening to A Keeper by Graham Norton. Father Ted meets Misery. Father Ted is/was a British comedy series set in Ireland and Graham Norton starred in a couple of episodes. So when I’m listening, that’s who I’m hearing! Lol.

Just finished Ann Patchett's Bel Canto & thought it was excellent. Sort of a dream of a book. Now I'm starting another book by her - Run. I found out that she is an owner of a bookstore in Nashville. I thought that was putting your royalties in a wonderful place!

I read Glamour in Glass a few years ago and enjoyed it. It's the 2nd novel in the "Glamourist Histories" series.
