Tony Robinson

[quote=""annis""]I've seen this series- it's hilarious, though poor Tony Robinson clearly found the job of guillemot-egg collector pretty challenging! As an acrophobic I sympathised.

Come to think of it, this is Baldrick carried to his logical conclusion.

If one is raised in a hovel among siblings, adults, and animals and existing on a diet of gruel, what would nauseate that individual?

Chuck, this "Worst Jobs in History" Tony Robinson is Baldrick, Blackadder's dogsbody.. Confusingly there is another Tony Robinson who presents another Channel 4 series called "Time Team" . Very interesting- I found out from that for someone how to build a Roman hypocaust

Donroc has a point- if the conditions that ick us out were what you were used to, would it bother you as much?

Baldrick would probabaly have a cunning plan to deal with it!

Probably one of the worst jobs in history (and possibly one of the shortest) would have been food-taster to some detested ruler. Imagine being a food-taster in Renaissance italy!

Btw, I should point out that the hypocaust was a school project and not part of a new house. Not only would a hypocaust probably contravene every known modern building regulation, but if things go wrong you can end up flooding your house with carbon monoxide - not recommended :(

From memory, I am pretty sure it is the same Tony Robinson who hosts both of these shows.
