I saw this website, it's pretty interesting. Would you all agree? Any bad jobs to add?

I've seen this series- it's hilarious, though poor Tony Robinson clearly found the job of guillemot-egg collector pretty challenging! As an acrophobic I sympathised.

This is such a good show. I wish I had seen more episodes on TV.

Slop-man would not be my choice of career.

The links seem to be broken for some reason (or maybe the site is just down for maintenance). So I don't know if this was on there or not, but I would definitely vote for chimney sweep. Black lung disease - definitely not on the top of my list of ways to snuff it.

I have seen a few of these, and there were some jobs that made him decidedly uncomfortable. He didn't seem to cope well with the egg collecting one, and some of the other odiferous occupations had him gagging or being truely sick.

Series 2 is available in DVD Downunder, though not Series 1, I think (might be wrong) - and possibly elsewhere in the world.
In the meantime, what would we do without YouTube?

I was thinking about how Herod defeated the rebels in the cliffs of Arbel. I would not want to have been one of the soldiers chosen to be suspended in a wicker basket from a crane, trying to catch rebels in the caves with a grappling hook. In fact, the soldiers in that basket were so terrified of sitting around in it and waiting that they decided to assault the caves, at least that was solid ground!

Interest in HF: I love history, but it's boring in school. Historical fiction brings it alive for me.

LOL This is great... it looks like the equivalent of history's Dirty Jobs.
