Jean Plaidy Reissues (US list)
I saw on Amazon today a couple of new covers for books that were previously released by Three Rivers Press (when they were doing the covers with actual pictures of the book's subject). There's no new publication date for the books so I guess they're just changing the covers.

(yeah! I got the pictures to show up!)

I agree...I like the covers on the first ones I picked up a few years ago. They just had a nice, classy look to them.

It's not just that they are headless -- it's that the shots are limited to strategic parts of the anatomy! I can see why they revamped the covers -- the yellow will "pop" from the shelf better, and so will the other colors and the design. It's set up to appeal to people who are raised on the MacGillivray offerings or romance-disguised-as-HF.

The yellow is very nice, but I hate the bodice shot - who do they think is the market for this book? Teenage boys?
