Post by lauragill » Wed August 21st, 2013, 6:04 pm

I recently painted a Minoan scene that I shared on deviantART.

lauragill, that is superb and I need to just enlarge it full screen and get lost in it for an hour or so. Thank you for sharing - I am just enthralled by people with visual arts skill, and this is beautiful.

By the way, do you keep your images online anywhere I could link to? I would love to share this on my blog, it's really lovely. I would not swipe your work of course - but would love to point people to it!

That is very nice. Is it watercolour?
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

It's acrylic with some ink work.

I always upload my Minoan-Mycenaean-themed art to my deviantART account. I usually post it on my blog, too.

Oh, more art. Cool. And the mountains still look like watercolour.

That's because I treat acrylics like watercolors.
