Richard III dig- first paper released

Post by annis » Sat May 25th, 2013, 11:28 pm

The first paper on the RIII dig has been released and contains interesting stuff about the surrounds and actual burial itself. Richard's burial appears to have been hasty and unceremonious - his naked body was tipped feet first into too small a grave and it seems that his hands were bound- why when he was safely dead before being originally put on display we don't know - symbolic, maybe?
