Historical Novel Society Conference 2013

Post by Divia » Sun January 27th, 2013, 11:36 pm

Ladies and Gents!

I was just wondering who is going to the HNS Conference in June? I shall be there on a panel and hoping to pitch my novel(wish me luck! ;) )

My plane flights were kinda lame so I can't get in till Friday night. I leave Monday morning too.

Just would like a headcount of who is going. Love to see the peeps from this website. maybe we can grab a table for dinner?

I'll be at the conference, from late Thursday to Monday, though I haven't arranged my flights yet.

See you there!

I will be there from Thursday to the end at Sunday noon. I live about 90 minutes away.

Do not forget the Salvador Dali Museum is a few miles down the road.

Interest in HF: started in childhood with the classics, which, IMHO are HF even if they were contemporary when written.
Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.
Location: California Bay Area

I don't think I'd go this year, but I might try in 2014. Can I go if I'm only self pubbed?

Yes. Lots of self-published writers go.
