Freaking new guy

Post by markbutler532 » Thu January 17th, 2013, 5:35 pm

Hello all! I'm the newest member (as of this writing) of this historical fiction board. I'm excited to chat with fellow historical fiction enthusiasts about all the great literature out there.

Favorite author (other than myself): Conn Iggulden

Oh and check out my novels in my sig! I've written a thriller, a horror and a historical fiction.

I look forward to conversing with all of you!

Welcome, Mark. I hope you enjoy it here.

I don't think I can be much help with your pictures. I think you may have to save them to your computer first and then download them to somewhere like Photobucket. Then copy the IMG link from there. That's what I do anyway.

I don't think that's how height/width attribute works with BBcode. Try what is used here for Image (resized): http://www.bbcode.org/reference.php

Hi Mark, welcome aboard. Not sure about the images, perhaps BB will chime in with an answer.

On the image tag issue - it appears that this forum simply doesn't support the height/width attribute at all. It seems the BBcode I linked to is the same way you were trying it (I thought there were more/different brackets but apparently not) but it simply doesn't appear to work on this forum (just tried it myself).

Here are the images from your sig, I merely remove the height attribute and then they display like this (I didn't copy and paste the urls though):
