E-book Freebies and Deals 2013
Far In The Wilds by Deanna Raybourn is available for pre-order and it's free. Africa, 1918. I'm in.
ETA: use this linkto get to the free page. I'm hearing it might be more of a novella, one friend is saying 54 pages. Hmmm.

It is my understanding that it's a novella which supplies the backstory for the hero of her next book which comes out at the end of April. I had already pre-ordered it so not sure I can cancel and then order through your free link. The orig pre-order price wasn't much to begin with (I think $1.99 US IIRC). I am under the impression novellas like this are being used more and more as a marketing tool to whet reader appetites. I loved her Julia Grey novels and couldn't resist the African setting for this upcoming book.

I haven't read that series yet, but hear lots of good things about them. I will have to read the new book, I do like the African setting. Off to check the library and see if they've got it on order.
