A nearby discount bookstore is selling Georgette Heyer books at 3 for £5 - bargain! So I picked up three that I haven't read: Regency Buck, Devil's Cub, and Cousin Kate.

Just ordered Tim Willock's Twelve Children of Paris, set around the St Bartholomew's Day Massacre, Paris, 1572. Been waiting forever for this one, the sequel to Willock's The Religion.

An advance reading copy of The Carriage House by Louisa Hall to read and review by mid June. It's a contemporary take on Persuasion by Jane Austen.

Persuasion is my favourite Austen novel. I shall keep an eye out for Louisa Hall's book.

From the library...

Mary Boleyn- Mistress of Kings by Alison Weir
Guardians of the West by David Eddings
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!
