Favourite Songs & Move clips

Post by rebecca » Sun December 2nd, 2012, 12:25 am

I know we usually discuss movies here, but I love music and often tune into what's new on Youtube...Some of the kids who put together these scenes show real talent. Here are two of my favourite songs.

Holy Grail by Hunters and Collectors--Narnia Movie

And

Seven Devils by Florence & The Machine--Scenes from Game of Thrones S 2

I love all her songs and she certainly has a pair of lungs on her.
What are your favourite songs?

Bec :) Ps I hope these links work. The kids might be talented but I'm not! :p

The last 4 minutes of "300" gives you one of the most inspirational speeches ever.

The last 5 minutes of "Breaker Morant" includes very moving singing of the final song by the late Edward Woodward.

AND

Perhaps the best sequence in all cinema:

The Roller Skating in "Heaven's Gate" and the the subsequent waltz by Kris Kristoffersen and the stunning Isabel Huppert (the most beautiful and talented actress ever?). And the music is wonderful.

The "Slow Water" sequence in "Heaven's Gate" is almost as good.

And all are available on YouTube!
