Roman History Fascination

Post by Antoine Vanner » Sun October 21st, 2012, 11:08 am

Hello Christoper!

I was lucky enough not just to learn Latin in school but to be required to study Roman History as well for five years. The first three took us up to the end of the Second Punic War and the last two covered up to the end of the Republic. It stopped there. I guess that everything that happened afterwards was considered too scandalous for sensitive young ears! I enjoyed it all however and the fascination persists.

Regards: Antoine
