Hey,
A few months ago I said that I'd post about my experience with the KDP Select program on Amazon. I've written a blog post about it. Check it out if you're interested.

KDP Select/Kindle Prime
Thanks for the follow-up. I have a lot of reservations about limiting a title to one channel--especially if you only one book. I agree that Smashwords is a great alternative. I published a collection of essays that I wanted to give away through them. I wanted to sell a collection of fantasy stories, so published with Smashwords, Kindle and Pubit. Now I'm investigating Create Space so folks can get paper copies if they want (80% of all books sold are still print, so don't want to cut out that channel!)
Best of luck with your books!
