Well, we made it back last night. After sleeping for 12 hours last night, I'm trying to get stuff put away and caught up on everything. We had a really great time but wished he could have stayed there for a couple of weeks. I created a new blog where I will be posting pictures, stories and our adventures (here is the link: http://uk-mindthegap.blogspot.com/ ). There's nothing there yet, but stay tuned!

EC, unfortunately we were not able to go to Temple Church. My plan had been to go there the afternoon on our first day after we checked into our hotel, but we didn't make it before they closed and then they were closed all weekend. I was bummed.

I was wondering how you'd gone on Tanzanite - thought of you a couple of times. Commisers re the Temple Church. They are often closed. I was in London about 3 weeks ago to give talks and had a day off in the city. I dropped by the Temple Church on the way home to pay my respects and natch it was shut. So I just laid my hand on the door for a minute and had a quiet respect moment. Am in London again on the 18th for a publishing meeting. Publishers offices are on the Embankment just down from the Temple Church, so I may try again. But bum that you came all the way from the USA and didn't get to see it. Still, I guess you got close :) And if you had a great time with everything else, then that's brilliant!
