Liked last night's epidsode (5) where the ladies stood up to the men both upstairs and downstairs. PBS blogger did a good job of summarizing the war of the sexes:

Darn. I wasn't sure if there would be a new episode because of the super bowl. :( Missed this one.

The local PBS stations here in the metro DC area have repeats of Sunday's episode for those who missed it.

I've been watching the streaming episodes.
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!
- "Into Battle"

I found a way to watch online but my husband asked me to stop. He wants us to watch them together. So now we're getting the DVDs in the mail through Netflix. Sending disc 1 back on Monday and getting disc 2 right away. I've seen them through episode 5. It wasn't much of a sacrifice to stop after that one. I cried my eyes out even though I knew it was coming (courtesy of my 13 year old who looked up the season highlights and blabbed).

Well Season 3 certainly ended up being a depressing season that is for sure. What an ending.

I found the whole Bates in prison very dour and ended up FF his bits. And for the first time I actually felt sorry for Thomas(though I still don't like the character)....Wait till you see the Season 3 Xmas special DVD...Although I won't miss the character  ....Season 4 shall be interesting.

Bec :)
