New companion book!

Post by princess garnet » Thu August 9th, 2012, 3:03 pm

A new companion book to the series, Chronicles of Downtown Abbey, is coming out Nov. 13th. It's written by Jessica Fellowes and will include the 3rd season. It'll be something to tide you over until the US broadcast!

Hopefully I'll get season 2 from the library before season 3 starts.
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

Yes, I'm looking forward to it. I keep seeing clips for it on TV showing Maggie Smith and Shirley MacLaine sitting together. It's going to be fun! :D

I watched the first episode of Season 3 last night - one and a half hours of it! Wonderful stuff as ever. Dame Maggie Smith and Shirley MacLaine are a hoot together.

More brilliant lines from Maggie Smith! And the ending was just perfect!

Loved the little smirk between Mary and Matthew and "I should hate to be predictable". :D
