Downton Abbey Season 3

Post by princess garnet » Sat July 28th, 2012, 3:40 pm

Thought I'd start a fresh thread for the 3rd season.

Downton Abbey will be showing in the US starting Jan. 6th, 2013. The home page is now up along with related online news articles and videos.
Enjoy! :)

I'm watching season 2 now and I like it. I'm completely bummed that I have to wait another 6 months to see Season 3.

I second that emotion. Except I'll be waiting longer because I have to wait for the DVDs, and there will undoubtedly be a long list of Netflix subscribers who get in line before me.

I rented and watched Season 2 in just 2 days! I thought it was fabulous and certainly just as great as Season 1. I have to say I also loved the improved quality of the Season 2 dvd. I actually thought I was watching blu-ray. It was THAT good! Who needs to see blu-ray when the dvd quality is so amazing! Can't wait for Season 3!!!

My oldest son took an interest in DA toward the end of our watching the second season. He wanted us to rent it again. I explained about the waiting list on Netflix. But...at the library I asked if they had DA and they do! He's seen all of season one now and we're waiting for someone to return season two.

Season 3 starts next month, yayy. We're promised a birth, a marriage, a death - and Shirley MacLaine.
