Eleanor, Raymond and the Antioch incident

Post by EC2 » Tue July 17th, 2012, 11:43 am

Just thought I'd put up my blog post on Eleanor of Aquitaine and the merry go round debate about whether she committed incest with her Uncle Raymond in Antioch. http://livingthehistoryelizabethchadwic ... nd-of.html

Men in our own time have been known to accuse their wives of unfaithfulness when the wives ask for divorces, even if fooling around is the last thing on the beleaguered wives' minds. It's very easy for me to believe this is what happened to Eleanor.

Dishy knight photo, by the way!
Browse over 5000 historical novel listings (probably well over 5000 by now, but I haven't re-counted lately) and over 700 reviews at www.HistoricalNovels.info
