Finished Eclipse: A Novel of Lewis and Clark by Richard Wheeler.
I was really excited for this one, because the Lewis and Clark journey is one of my favorite subjects to teach.
But, this book focused on the supposed syphilis of Lewis, which is just a theory. More interesting was the widening gulf between Clark and his slave York. Overall, not a book for me.

Rockygirl's Late Start 2012 Reads
Miracle at St. Anna by James McBride.
I really liked the author's memoir, The Color of Water, so I wanted to read this book for a while.
But, while it was an interesting story, I didn't like the style of writing. Also, some of the plot didn't really come together for me.
Two books I didn't really like in a row. Hoping I choose better next time.
