I understand that there was a drinking game going on for whenever Palin used certain phrases. For me, the trigger words were:
Maverick
greedy and corrupt Wall Street
Alaska
Energy -- bonus points if both were used at the same time
OTOH; I think Biden did very well -- he kept his cool throughout, and came across as intellegent, genuinely giving a damn about the people, and was gracious throughout without bashing his opponent. Which leds me to believe that Obama is going to be smart, and surround himself with people who can actually think and act, instead of the incessant cronyism and yes-men that have been in place for the last eight years.
I also heard Our Fearless Leader being refered to as 'a high-functioning moron' -- if that doesn't hit the nail squarely on the head, I don't know what will.

I don't mean to generalize about Bush and Palin.....but they function by utilizing inept talking points.....Someone once said That Bush and Palin lack a certain Intellectual curiosity about important the issues of the day....So their staff develops one line zinger talking points......I wonder what would have happened if Biden used Palin's put down/condescending attacks on the Democrats policies....I rest my case......
