'A Train in Winter' Non Fiction when I get time to read in the afternoon and at night 'Highland Journal of Queen Victoria'. I am enjoying Train in Winter, though there is the sadness of knowing that not all of these brave women survived the war.

Putting Through a Glass Darkly temporarily aside as I got notice from eLibrary New Jersey that it was my turn to read Lord John Grey and the Private Matter by Diana Gabaldon. This is the first book I've gotten from eLibrary New Jersey. It's very easy to use. As soon as I checked out, I was taken directly to my Amazon Kindle account. Now that I know how to use it, I'll probably be using this more.

Isn't that a snap? I assume your library is using Overdrive, same as mine does. They're constantly adding new titles and I'm wishlisting those titles I'd like to read in the future or on a rainy day when nothing else will suit. It is so cool getting a library book at 5AM on a Sunday morning.

I'm not sure what my library is using. It appears that the eLibrary is a state-wide consortium. I wanted to read the Lord Grey books, but wanted to put some distance between when I finished the last Outlander book (May 2011) and when I started the Lord Grey books. My problem with using the eLibrary will come during the school year when I have much less time to read. I cannot always guarantee that I will finish a book in two weeks.

Currently reading Alan Furst's new one: Mission to Paris. Bought it with the last of my gift card money. Now I have to stick to a budget!

I just started reading Freida Lightfoot's "The Reluctant Queen." As soon as I'm done, I'm re-reading Judith Koll Healy's "The Canterbury Papers." I hope it's as good as I remember it being!
I blog about all things writing and historical at Caroline Wilson Writes!

I'm also on Facebook, Twitter, and Goodreads!

Now Available: "Rebel Heart," a romantic historical fiction set in Civil War America and Victorian England.

The Siege by Nick Brown. It's K so far but I'm not exactly glued to the pages.
