Tried to read Diana Gainer's ebook Conspiracy of the Islands. Tedious. I left a review here.
I don't think I've mentioned Crown of Desire by Marjorie DeBoer. Finished it yesterday and don't let the cover, blurb or the fact that it's from Leisure scare you off. Not a romance, although there's a slight bit of one - otherwise mostly historical. Second French Empire and the subsequent revolution (4th?). Good solid reading. Just started Deepwater by Pamela Jekel. North Carolina/Cape Fear multi generational saga. 1700s to Civil War. My cuppa tea
