Interest in HF: started in childhood with the classics, which, IMHO are HF even if they were contemporary when written.
Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.
Location: California Bay Area

I'm reading Railroad Schemes by Cecelia Holland on my kindle, Through a Glass Darkly by Koen as my nightstand book, and the Queen's Gamble as a trade-off. Plus a couple of research books.

I'll get on to the Queen's Vow eventually.

Zeus- A Journey Through Greece in the Footsteps of a God by Tom Stone
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

Icefall, by Matthew J Kirby, a suspenseful and atmospheric Viking era YA tale about love, loyalty, self-belief and empowerment through story. Recommended.

Received a review copy of The Seven Wonders by Steven Saylor; book 0 in the Gordianus series. I'll be interested to see if Saylor puts more life into the younger Gordianus. The last one in the series was a major disappointment.

Finished The Queen's Vow, and also just finished up Sandra Byrd's The Secret Keeper. I think I'll start on the new biography of Eleanor de Montfort next.
