Hi Juliette. Welcome. I'm guessing you are a fellow Brit? I also love the Victorian era, though as I'm now over in the States my focus is on the post-Civil War (specifically, the Wild West). The comparisons are REALLY fascinating! Enjoy your time here -

Yes, Wendy, I am in the UK, but don't restrict myself to British history. The wild frontiers of the Western US are irresistible, aren't they? So rich in fictional possibilities, plus you have to love a cowboy ;) .
