Hi! My name's Sydney and I've been writing forever, everything from short 'drabbles' to novels stopped too short. I've never published any of my work online before, but as a part of my Personal Project at school, my specification was that I would have to post my 2 short historical fictions to a historical fiction forum/blog/website. And so I have!

My stories are set in 1941, one is in Cambridge, England and the other is in Zenta in Hungary (though that's not addressed in the story). Their point is to highlight the effect of World War 2 on common life in Europe in 1941.

Please check them out and tell me what you think! They're on the member writings thread (i think that's what it's called):

Interest in HF: started in childhood with the classics, which, IMHO are HF even if they were contemporary when written.
Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.
Location: California Bay Area
