Amanda Knox

Post by Ken » Fri February 17th, 2012, 3:16 pm

I read that Amanda Knox has been given a £2.5 million advance to 'write' the 'terrifying Account' of her ordeal. Would anyone here want to read this book?

Not me. But she is a local girl, and her trials and tribulations have been covered by the media here ad infinitum. Live coverage of her homecoming. Gah.

That should help with those legal bills. There will be plenty of people who will want to read it.

People will buy the book if she confesses in it.

It'll add to all those books written while the trial was going.

Not likely, especially since all the evidence points to her not having done it.

Interest in HF: I love history, but it's boring in school. Historical fiction brings it alive for me.

Yeah there are plenty of people who will read it. My mother informed me recently that she wants to read the book written by the woman who was supposedly another of President John F. Kennedy's affairs. I thought to myself... what utter crap! I can hardly believe people would willingly read that....... stuff :o but apparently they do. So, yes, unfortunately she will have a ripe audience.

The evidence points to the man who is still in jail in Italy for the crime, Ken.

She may have done some stupid things, but that doesn't make her a murderess.
