I love it when Maggie Smith whispers...'There's an Indian in my room' and she is in India!! :p LOL

It reminded me of a conversation with my late Grandma. It went like this:

Grandma: She speaks very good english for an Aboriginal.

Bec: Nan, that's because she's an Australian.

Grandma: I'm not being racist. I am just saying she speaks good english for an aboriginal.

Bec: Nan-the Aboriginal people were here first so in effect we are the immigrants. We are all immigrants, the Aboriginals aren't.

Grandma: I am not an immigrant! I was born here!

Sigh I gave up after that. :p
