Parnassus--new/only indie bkstore in my town

Today I visited Parnassus--the indie bookstore opened by author Ann Patchett in Nashville, Tennessee. It was awesome! Small and intimate, peopled with intelligent employees, and full of beautiful autographed books. Real books. Ahhhh...I didn't miss my Kindle Fire for a second. I just hope they can pull in some of my favorite authors--too bad a bunch of them live so very far away!
