"Legacy" is part of the promo currently running called "The Big Deal" - 200 books under $4. This is different from the monthly "100 Books for $3.99 or less" and it ends March 25 so hurry! There are several more historical choices in addition to "Legacy" - if I have time, I'll pick them out and post them later.

ETA: Scratch that, there's far too many, pick them out yourselves, lol.

Prue Phillipson's Vengeance Thwarted, first in a series set during the English Civil War, is free on Kindle today and tomorrow (Fri and Sat). Saw this via the publisher's FB page.

Books like this don't really work well with the basic Kindle, but the PC app is perfect. I use that app to store a lot of the freebies until I'm ready to read them anyway.
