Leonardo--Please start a thread in the writing business section when you have a feeling about how KDP Select is working for you. I think at least one other author in the group is also checking it out (her novel had disappeared from Smashwords when I went to buy it, but was still available on Kindle.) I'm sure lots of us would like to hear about it.

Misfit--what does "annotated" mean in an ebook?

Thanks!

Not sure, but I will find out when I crack one of these open. The gal that's involved with editing these new issues is Jenny Q, a friend from blogland and Goodreads. I think there's a new website coming out soon for this new project of hers, but you can also find out more at this blog. She'd offered a review copy, but the price was so low I went ahead and bought them. Besides, I like my quotes and stuff on my Amazon kindle page.

I absolutely will let you all know how it goes. Yes, it's a three month committment...a rather small amount of time compared to how much of my life I signed over to Uncle Sam (in perspective)

Robin: Lady of Legend by R.M. ArceJaeger is free on Kindle today. Female Robin Hood and I believe it is YA.

There's also a series set in Prescott Arizona that sounds interesting. I picked up book one free yesterday and book two is free today. Worth watching to get them all if the others show up free.
