Haven't seen it before but with it being self published and no reviews yet, I wouldn't be willing to spend $9.99 on it. If I hadn't already read 3 novels on Eleanor, I might put it on my price drop watcher.
What is a price drop watcher?
To Die For: A Novel of Anne Boleyn is at 2.99 for Kindle:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004IK ... d_asin_lnk

I've read it, it's not a bad book.

Beat me to it! I'm torn on whether to get it - on one hand, it's such a good price coming from a major publisher but on the other, I'm tired of the Tudors.

I noticed some other bargains: Ask Alice: A Novel - $3.68

I think this one is set in present day but has historical ties - looked worth a mention: Where Memories Lie - $2.99

Freebies:

The Shopkeeper - I loved this one! I'm not even into westerns but I really enjoyed it.
Tempest at Dawn - same author, haven't read it yet.
Devil's Lair - this is categorized as "horror" as well as historical fiction so I never tried it but it gets good reviews.

Umberto Eco's The Prague Cemetery is only $3.81
The Forger: An Extraordinary Story of Survival in Wartime Berlin - $3.55
The World Before Her is only $2.08 - it's not categorized as historical fiction but by the description, it's a dual setting, one in 1880 and one 100 years later.

I clicked the 'Forger Extraordinary Survival' only to find I can't buy it. I wonder why and how annoying! It sounds like a cracking good read.
