Haven't seen it before but with it being self published and no reviews yet, I wouldn't be willing to spend $9.99 on it. If I hadn't already read 3 novels on Eleanor, I might put it on my price drop watcher.

Maids of Misfortune: A Victorian San Francisco Mystery is free right now. I've read this one and can recommend it if you like historical mysteries.

Thanks for that, Mythica. I'll give it a go. No reason why not if it's free.

White Seed: The Untold Story of the Lost Colony of Roanoke is currently free. I was unimpressed by the sample I tried a while ago but others seem to like it so I thought I'd mention it.

I have that languishing on the PC app somewhere. For those who like Christian historicals, Summer of Promise by Amanda Cabot is free at the moment.

Salt Bride by Lucinda Brant is free on Kindle and I believe Nook.

Artfulby Mark Lake is a spin off of the Artful Dodger, sending him to Australia on a transport ship.

Not my cuppa, but Trojan Women: A Novel of the Fall of Troyby Byrne Fone and Sikanderby M. Salahuddin Khan (Pakistan 1986) are free.
