What Are You Reading? January 2012
After finishing Hood last week, I had to go on to Scarlet - the 2nd in the King Raven Trilogy, by Stephen R Lawhead. The ending just wasn't satisfying enough to leave it there without going right on. Today I finished Scarlet and again the end left me feeling the same way. So I'm now on the final book - Tuck. I didn't really intend to read them all back to back, but the endings just weren't the kind that would let me stop after 1 or 2. I enjoyed the first two very much.

How is it? I've been wanting to try that series.

Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!

I haven't gotten very far in this book...it's the fourth one. It takes a bit of doing to get acquainted with all the characters and sometimes I find that there is too much detail (especially in book 2). I really liked book three. There are twists and turns in the plot right up to the final page.

I have copies of both. I prefer Red Adam's Lady, but they are both book in my HF hall of fame, and not many make it there!
