A second hand copy of C J Sansom's "Sovereign" bought on holiday in a charity bookstall at a cafe (mine is buried somewhere deep in the tbr stacks, and I'm desperate to crack on with this series), and "Believing the Lie" by Elizabeth George, bought in the supermarket today, and I've ordered "The Cadaver Game" by Kate Ellis.

I've also ordered "The Lady's Slipper" and "The Gilded Lily", both by Deborah Swift, and "Fear in the Shadows" by Nicola Upson.

It's odd to me, but the Beatles are now "historical"--it was fifty years ago! I've just ordered a biography of John Lennon. I miss him--not so much the music as the interviews.
