Australian/British living in Italy
Hello everybody! I just joined the forum.
I was born in Australia and lived in London for many years, now I live in Italy.
I love all periods of history, but my particular favourite is the Early Middle Ages. I first got interested in that period partly because it seems to be little known and poorly understood and I was curious.
I read historical novels about all kinds of times and places, from Sir Walter Scott to contemporary writers.
I write historical novels set in the Early Middle Ages (of course!) but also the ancient world. I also write essays and poetry.

- Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
- Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.
