Reading Children's Books As An Adult?

Post by SonjaMarie » Thu December 15th, 2011, 3:58 am

When I was a little girl in the early 80s I got a free book from Scholastic Books, and I chose "Betsy-Tacy and Tib" by Maud Hart Lovelace. I didn't know it was the 2nd book or that there was more books after it.

Now the first 4 books are in one book and I'm debating on if I should read them but do I really want to commit to the whole series or not.

Thoughts?

I've never read these as an adult, but I read them over and over again as a child. I'd certainly commit to the series! (They read quickly, anyway.)

I must've loved that book because I remember things from it after all this time.

I say get it. If you remember it after all this time it must have been an important piece of your childhood.
