Looks like it will definitely be January, as per this article:

Seems it was shifted so that it airs in the middle of the related British Library exhibition.

Being from the States myself, I have found that PBS and Masterpiece Theater have come through for me many times in bringing me my British historical or literary adaptation fill!

An interesting BBC radio series coming up:

A collaboration between BBC Radio 4 and the Royal Collection. To mark Her Majesty The Queen's Diamond Jubilee, BBC Radio 4 illuminates the long history of the Monarchy in a new eight-part series, The Art Of Monarchy. Presented by BBC Arts Editor Will Gompertz, the programmes explore the monarchs who have ruled these islands through the works of art they have acquired.
