Finally watched the last episode of season 2 and wasn't as impressed as with the first, but still enjoyed it. Agree with Divia that it was pretty predictable, in soap opera terms, especially the Mathew-Mary romance. Thought the almost dalliance with the housemaid was a bit lame. What I did like (besides the great hats!) were WWI sensibilities...not everyone was for the war, the loss of innocence and the beginnings of a less rigid class/gender system. Also appreciated Edith's development from a bored, whiny bitch to something more human.

I remember seeing a "making of" documentary after the last episode concluded. If it's the same one which was on TV, here it is if you missed it or want to rewatch. Note: available for a limited time!
