Happy Thanksgiving!

Post by wendy » Wed November 23rd, 2011, 1:13 pm

Wishing all our American members a safe and happy Thanksgiving. Even with all the current problems the USA is still a wonderful country and I, for one, feel so blessed to live here.

Interest in HF: started in childhood with the classics, which, IMHO are HF even if they were contemporary when written.
Favourite HF book: Prince of Foxes, by Samuel Shellabarger
Preferred HF: Currently prefer 1600 and earlier, but I'll read anything that keeps me turning the page.

Happy Thanksgiving to all from me too. I love this holiday; not only does it suit every religion, but so far the retailers haven't found much of a venue to commercialize a holiday that basically centers around a big dinner with family.

What makes me especially thankful this Thanksgiving is that we did the whole family dinner thing last Saturday (see how easy it is to manage this holiday?) and now my 15 guests are all sent on their merry way, their sheets and towels are washed and put away along with the dishes. Tomorrow Jay and I are going to relax, nibble on some leftovers, and go into San Francisco to see a holiday discount performance of the Cirque du Soliel.

I hope it will be a happy one for us, they're saying it's going to be windy and when it's Washington State, Thanksgiving can be ruined, knock on wood for me that it's not!

Happy Thanksgiving all!
Into battle we ride with Gods by our side
We are strong and not afraid to die
We have an urge to kill and our lust for blood has to be fulfilled
WE´LL FIGHT TILL THE END! And send our enemies straight to Hell!
