Hello from the middle of nowhere!

Post by ranidays » Wed November 16th, 2011, 7:57 pm

Hi everyone!

I found this site about a week ago, and I don't think I have exited this tab since! It is so awesome that I found a forum about HF, I seriously almost cried when I found this place!

My name is Rani, I'm from North Dakota (hence the middle of nowhere title :D ). I have been an avid reader of HF for a long time, and I own wayyyyy too many HF books, to be honest (I recently bought a Nook, as I have no more room on my bookshelf or in the two tubs I have full of books haha). Reading is literally my life, since I am a nursing student, so I am either reading textbooks or reading for pleasure almost all the time. My favorite genres of HF are English, French and Italian HF from pretty much any era, although I do prefer Renaissance or earlier time frames.

I recently just finished Pillars of the Earth (phew, that was a long one!) and Lady of the English (which I really liked, as I haven't read much about Matilda). I am really excited to discuss books with everyone!!!

Hello and welcome Rani! I'm a nurse too, so good luck with your nursing studies :) I've got 'Lady of the English' on Mt TBR, but it's a HB signed by Elizabeth so I'm almost afraid to read it in case I crease it... :p
